TOUR ITINERARY

Arrival in Khulna – The Day Before the Tour

Guests traveling from Dhaka or other districts are requested to arrive in Khulna by train or bus between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM on the evening before the tour.

Please report to Jelkhanaghat, Khulna, between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM the following morning. Our tour guide will be there to welcome and receive you.

DAY 01: Khulna – Harbaria/Andharmanik – Kotka

• 6:30–7:00 AM: Guest reception at BIWTA Ghat/Jelkhanaghat, Khulna, followed by departure towards Harbaria/Andharmanik.
• 8:00–8:30 AM: Breakfast served on board.
• Enjoy scenic views of the Rupsha Bridge, thermal power plant, and Mongla Port during the journey.
• 1:00–2:00 PM: Expected arrival at Harbaria/Andharmanik.
• After lunch, explore the Eco-Tourism Zone.

Harbaria Attractions:

• Freshwater pond for wildlife.
• Observation tower.
• Wooden walking trails through the mangrove forest.

After exploring the area, return to the vessel and continue the journey towards Kotka.

• 8:00–9:00 PM: Expected arrival at Kotka.
• Dinner and overnight stay aboard the vessel.

DAY 02: Kotka – Jamtala Sea Beach – Kochikhali – Egg Island

Start your day early with an exciting exploration of the Sundarbans.

• 6:00 AM: Visit Kotka Office Para, Tiger Hill, and the surrounding forest areas.
• Return to the vessel for breakfast.
• Depart for Jamtala Sea Beach.
• Enjoy a guided walk to the Watchtower and Tiger Point along the way.
• Spend approximately one hour at the beautiful Jamtala Sea Beach.
• Return to the vessel.

Walking distance: Approximately 6 km (round trip) between Kotka and Jamtala Beach.

• Continue the journey through a narrow canal towards the Kochikhali Wildlife Sanctuary.
• Around 3:00 PM: Expected arrival at Kochikhali.
• Visit Egg Island (Dim-er Char) and explore the surrounding natural beauty until approximately 4:30 PM.
• Return to Kochikhali.

Kochikhali is particularly famous for its abundant spotted deer and beautiful mangrove landscapes.

After exploring Kochikhali and enjoying a scenic canal cruise, return to the vessel in the evening.

• Depart towards Chandpai Forest Station.
• Dinner and overnight stay aboard the vessel.

DAY 03: Chandpai – Karamjal – Khulna

• Enjoy an early morning canal cruise around Chandpai Forest Station and its surrounding waterways.
• Return to the vessel for breakfast.
• Depart for Karamjal Eco-Tourism Centre.

Karamjal Attractions:

• Mini Zoo.
• Crocodile Breeding Centre.
• Approximately 1 km of wooden walking trails.
• Elevated observation tower.
• A large map of the Sundarbans.

After exploring Karamjal, return to the vessel and begin the journey back to Khulna.

• 5:00–6:00 PM: Expected arrival in Khulna.
• Evening snacks will be served.
• The tour officially concludes upon arrival.

The following expenses are not included in the package:

• Transportation to and from Khulna (train, bus, or other transport).

• Camera entry fees, where applicable.
• Tips and gratuities.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• The tour schedule may vary by approximately 2–3 hours depending on tidal conditions.
• Tour destinations and activities may be modified, extended, or adjusted depending on weather, tides, and other operational circumstances.
• Wildlife sightings are natural occurrences and cannot be guaranteed.
• Guests are requested to follow the instructions of the tour guide and Forest Department personnel throughout the journey.

For a comfortable and enjoyable journey, we recommend bringing:

• Windbreaker, raincoat, or umbrella.
• Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers.
• Hat or cap for sun protection.
• Sunscreen lotion.
• Insect repellent spray.
• Binoculars for wildlife observation.
• Camera.
• Toothbrush and toothpaste.
• Towel and soap.
• Necessary personal medicines.
• Flashlight or torch.

A little tip: Keep your eyes open and stay observant! The Sundarbans is full of hidden natural wonders, fascinating wildlife, and unforgettable sights.

Advance Deposit: 50% of total package price (for booking confirmation)
Full Payment: Before departure

Booking will be confirmed only after getting a 60% deposit; the rest of the payment has to be paid 15 days before the tour. • Booking will be automatically canceled if the tour’s full price is not paid 7 days before the tour. • We’ll also need a copy of the National ID or valid passport of everyone for the forest permit, and the children’s birth certificate as proof of age.
